Open PeekDrive
Click the PeekDrive icon in Google Chrome’s extensions bar, or the PeekDrive button next to Google Drive’s search bar. Sign in with Google.

PeekDrive shows every occurrence in each file, with the text around it, so you know the context.

Jump to what you’re looking for
Click “Open” to land directly on the right occurrence. The document’s own search stays open on your word, so you can move from one occurrence to the next.
Why PeekDrive asks for access to your Google Drive
PeekDrive asks you to sign in with Google and grant read-only access to your Google Drive, so it can search the text inside your files and show you the matching passages. It cannot modify or delete your files.
